As we were conversant with navigation, coastal topography, etc, appointed as ‘Special Casualty Representative’ for salvaging and post-salvage operations. The casualty was attributed to liquefaction of cargo. Hence, consultancy was in this perspective. The Vessel was beached hard. Hatches opened; water pumped out and list corrected by shifting cargo. Interacted with statutory authorities; Vessel successfully re-floated. No Pollution or Bottom Damage whatsoever. Sailing permissions organised; voyage completed satisfactorily.
